I was able to install my 2016 Pro Plus in such away that I do NOT have to log in every time I open it. Switch the PC login to one that is not tied to an email account. When I did my Office install, it converted my "local" windows login to an email based one In Office they can log in to their personal email account (hotmail or corporate ) to access their onedrive space. Install Office 2016 / Install Office 365 (with Pictures)

Is there an alternate method for businesses to activate Office 2016 to get around this problem? Aside from this obvious problem, the activation process in itself is very labour intensive and cumbersome compared with previous versions of MS Office.Įagerly awaiting your advice on this problem. If I activate the product by getting the user to create a Microsoft account, how then do I re-associate the Office 2016 license that is owned by my company to a new user (using the same device) in the event of the first user leaving the employ of the company?ĭo I need to create a Microsoft account for every device on my network running Office 2016? I have tried setting up a generic Microsoft account for my company and associating any new Office 2016 licenses with that account, but then when the actual user of the device logs in it prompts them to sign in with that generic account. I am hoping to find out how businesses are meant to activate Office 2016.Įven after entering the product key, Office 2016 insists on being associated with a Microsoft account in order to activate the product.
